Misho 48: blending figurative realism with non-ordinary elements

My name is Michal Vilhelmer, I am an "emerging" artist and I mainly dedicate myself to painting (oil), although I am also a photographer and writer.

I am a traditional painter, learning academic techniques as an autodidact. My style feeds figurative art, realism, hyperrealism with "non-ordinary" elements.
As an artist I try to represent with my works "another way of perceiving".

My graphic works are beyond the syntax of our language and that is why I like not to interfere in the viewer's sensations, explaining meaning or composition. I create my paintings in a state of non-thinking, logically... the viewer should do the same in order to capture the sensation or essence stored in my painting.

My creativity almost entirely comes from the "other way of perceiving", but to create a better linguistic channel, I look for connections or forms in philosophical, spiritual and scientific writings.

My paintings represent "direct feeling", "current reality", "social criticism" and "the channeling of knowledge" and that is why
I am an artist, a creator who transmits and channels and I do not feel like a salesman artist, it is something that is not part of my path and I believe... that is part of my style.

I am a painter, photographer and writer since I was a child, I have been creating works for 30 years without any interest in becoming a businessman (it is incompatible with me), but I believe that I have something very valuable that could be shared with others...
